The John E. Profant Foundation for the Arts

Greetings to all artists and friends!

Below are the Application and Guidelines for Scholarships from the John E. Profant Foundation For The Arts. These are funded by community support of the annual Fiesta Finale as well as by contributions, grants and bequests.

Background:

The mission of The John E. Profant Foundation For The Arts, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is to assist developing artists in the categories of music, dance, art, drama, and literature. We are offering scholarships ranging from $500 to $2000, to applicants who successfully complete the audition and review process. The scholarships shall not be limited by age and may be used to provide basic living support as well as tuition depending on individual needs. Successful applicants may reapply for continuing support.

Preference may be given to artists unable to qualify for traditional scholarships, i.e. age, financial situation, etc. The selection committee will consist of established artists residing outside the County of Santa Barbara.
